I have four tomato plants, each started from a tiny seed in my kitchen last April. Four tomato plants...and very, very, very good soil. The hens aren't the only over-achievers here at Four Cedars Farms. (The vote from my big eaters? Sauce.)

Marc, you'll be happy to know that before the sauce went into the freezer, it went into the food processor and was pureed. No discernable chunks remain, only creamy basil seasoned red sauce.
One more thing on the sauce. The recipe called for a bit of red wine so I grabbed a bottle off the shelf, opened it, and dumped in a generous amount...more than the recipe called for. Then I poured myself a glass only to realize I'd opened a bottle of port.
Maybe you could invite the old office over when you serve that sauce...
